If you received water-applied decal you should never try peeling a water-applied decal from its paper backing.

To apply, soak the decal in water and then after 3 to 5 minuets (longer if necessary, gently try sliding the decal back and forth on its backing material.

Do not force the decal from its backing. When you soak the decal, the backing card will roll up as it absorbs water but will flatten back out again once the water has soaked all the way though. It is now the decal is ready to be applied.

When you are sure the decal is loose, you then slide it off the backing onto the clean prepared surface.
